Terms of use
Updated 4 October 2026
These are the rules for using Biiggle. By opening an account, listing, posting or commenting, you agree to them and to the Privacy policy.
Who may use Biiggle
- You must be 18 or over to hold an account. One exception: a business may take on staff from the age of 16, where the law allows it.
- A listing must be a real business, artisan or driver, opened by the person who runs it or with their say-so, and pinned where it really is.
- You must hold whatever licence or registration your trade needs.
- One account each. Give true details and keep them up to date.
What may not be listed, sold, posted or said
A listing, a product, a photo, a video, a post or a comment may not contain or offer:
- anything illegal to sell or to do in Nigeria;
- tobacco, cigarettes, shisha or vapes for sale online: a business may sell these at its counter only;
- alcohol to anyone under 18;
- prescription-only medicines, unless the business holds the licence to dispense them and follows the law on prescriptions;
- weapons, ammunition or explosives;
- counterfeit, stolen or pirated goods;
- sexual services, or sexual or pornographic content;
- child sexual abuse material, or anything that sexualises, exploits or endangers a child: we remove it and report it to the authorities;
- abuse, threats, harassment or hatred of a person or a group;
- anything false or misleading: a fake review, a business you do not run, a price you will not honour;
- another person's private details, or work or pictures you have no right to use;
- spam, scams, malware, or any attempt to break or copy the system.
Reporting, removal and blocking
- Anyone can report a listing, a post or a comment: write to Info@biiggle.com with its link.
- We may hide or remove anything that breaks these rules, and suspend or close the account behind it, without notice.
- If we act on your account and you think we were wrong, write to Info@biiggle.com.
Shops
- Shops on Biiggle sell physical goods, and services given in person. Digital goods, delivered only on a screen, may not be sold through a shop.
- Each business sells in its own name, at its own prices, under its own rules. It answers for what it sells: the goods, the delivery, the refund, the taxes and the licences its trade needs.
- What a shopper pays goes straight to that business's own payment account. Biiggle does not hold it.
- Biiggle is not a party to a sale between a shopper and a business, or to work agreed with an artisan or a driver.
Accounts and passwords
- Keep your password or PIN to yourself. What is done with your account is taken as done by you.
- Tell us at once if someone else has used your account: Info@biiggle.com.
- You can delete your account at any time: Delete my account.
What you post
- What you post stays yours. By posting it you allow us to show it on Biiggle and in links to it.
- A rating or a comment must be your own honest experience.
- You answer for what you post.
How the directory is ordered
- With your location on, the nearest listing comes first.
- A business that pays for an advert gets a head start measured in kilometres: it is ranked as if it were that much nearer. It does not jump to the top from far away, and its card is marked "Featured".
- An artisan or a driver on a paid plan gets the same kind of head start, and is still shown only to readers within the distance they travel.
- We can move one listing up or down by a small amount, never more than 10 km.
- With no location, listings with a paid placement come first, then the newest.
- The blue tick means we checked the owner's ID and address. It cannot be bought, and it is not a promise about the goods or the work.
Paying Biiggle
What a business, an artisan or a driver pays Biiggle is covered by the Refund policy.
Liability
- Biiggle is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and correct. We do not promise that it will never fail or never be wrong.
- We are not liable for what a business, an artisan, a driver or another user does, sells, says or fails to do.
- Where the law allows, our liability to you for anything else is limited to what you paid Biiggle in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing here takes away a right the law gives you that cannot be signed away.
The law
These terms are under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and Nigerian courts decide any dispute about them.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top says when. If a change matters, we say so on Biiggle before it takes effect. Using Biiggle after that means you accept it.
